i got an email that said you can renew your namezero domains for 9.95 and you will own them. For anyone who lost their domain and wants it back like me this is great. I would suggest grabbing your domain back asap. peace

oh sh*t. i didnt read the date cause i was going through one of my old email accounts. appearantly this is old news.

i registered two domains with them and now how come they are giving me 2 different offers. on one domain 9.95, on the other 35.

They never were free. They registered them for one year, I believe, then if you wanted to keep it you would have to pay for it.

All of them are the same. They register it for you for a year to "try it out" and then you eithe pay for it or lose it.

Actually NameZero advertised that their free domains were "for life". Hopefully no one who had a domain from them died within this past year.

Yeah, their life, which would have ended if they didn't start making so money on that sinking rowboat.

Actually they were free for life when they launched. They changed their TOS to free trial some time later. I lost my domain. They have it registered for one more year.

If they think your domain was generating enough traffic, I think they renew your domain for another year.

Damned TOS's... hate those "we reserve all rights to modify this TOS any time we wish without warning you". Like, what if some company suddenly decided to sell your information and all they did to explain that was - change the TOS.:rolleyes:
