It isn't bad, but bring some variation in the background color. It's a little all-the-same-color.

So what colour would you recommned to go with the blue and what colour of what should I change (background, text, etc).

I think the buttons are a bit too large... you could either make the logo bigger or the buttons smaller... one of the two :)

Here are some suggestions:

- Add a hover for the buttons
- Change the background to something lighter or darker
- Make the buttons smaller.

Also try to keep these design updates in one thread.

Does anyone know how I stop the page from being really long. If I make it smaller then the text goes to the middle of the page.

I have to say, the image background doesn't match the background of the page. I am using 24 bit color. I would suggest using GIF images because you can make the background transparent.

I noticed that too but its not the easiest thing to do when you are using one program to do that background and the other to make the images.

Yeah, I know what that is. How about if the default button is that and when the mouse moves over it, it changes to the current blue?

That wouldn´t look good... rather you should change the Chat text to a light yellow and the orange spots to darker orange. Keep the navy color background.

I have to say, much better layout! And the navigation is no longer overwhelming!

Here are some more ideas:

1. I think the others were a bit right about everything being the same color. What you can do is visually divide your page by putting different parts of your web site in table cells that are different shades of blue. I would have the header in one shade of blue, the side nav in another shade of blue, and the main body in yet another. Other than that, I think the layout is much better than it was before!

I'll get to work on it then. I never knew making such a good website design would be so hard.

When you put your mind to it, it really isn´t hard at all. Just takes time.

I'm not too sure about the shades of blue but I may give it a little test to see what it turns out like. If its good I'll keep it.

You've corrected most of the problems from your second design but one still remains, that's the fact that the page keeps on going beyond where the content seems to have ended, resulting in a vertical scrollbar that seems to scroll to nowhere. The cause of this is thirty-three "<p align=right>&amp;nbsp;</p>"'s right below your links. What are their point? They don't seem to have one, why are they there? If you're using them to try to force the content of the cell to the top, then delete them and just add "valign=top" to your <td> tags.

It seems to have worked for the right side but not the left side. Here is the source:
