msn problem

salaam

New Member
hi, my msn has a link "sign in as ....@msn.com" so everyone can sign in as me.. without having a password. how do i take this thing off?

well go to your control panel...

click user account then click on the username you have currently logged in.
next, at the left hand side, click on manage network passwords and remove your account ..
:) hope that helps

it can't remove my account, as i'm signed in.
when you open the program, msn messenger, you usually have just a "SIGN IN" box in the window, right? with me there is

"myemail@msn.com
SIGN IN

you can sign in with a different account by clicking here"

follow me

ok man,

follow these steps:

1.click Run from start menu
2.type "control userpasswords2" and press enter
3.new dialogbox will open, Clik "Advance TAB"
4.click "Manage Passwords"
5. delete(remove) all the Stored email @dresses
6. restart your msn

DONE :biggrin2:

thanx

i've had that before.. another way you could solve that is to put a fake e-mail and fake password in and then click the remember my password box..and after it says it doesn't work,, the password and username will stay there and yours will not be there any more :p

Control Panel -> User Accounts

select your account
then choose "Change my .Net Passport"
on the left column of the user account window
under related tasks, click on "Manage my network passwords"
then a small window should pop out
remove the one that says "passport.net\* (passport)"

when you turn on msn messenger again, it will ask you to log on
don't save the password this time, so no one can sign in to your account.
