Moving domain

Simple. Depending who you bought your domain from you should log into their control panel and you will just point your domain at the new nameservers.
Nameserver addresses are usually provided in the signup of hosting plans or in the FAQ areas on most sites. An example would be:
Nameserver 1: ns1.ecsportal.com
Nameserver 2: ns2.ecsportal.com
And no. A company cannot steal your domain unless you "Transfer" the domain itself. In that case you would have to initiate the transfer and agree to the terms and they would have to do the same once the invitation is sent to them. (Not something you would do accidently)
