mail() attachment

Could someone tell me the most simple command using PHPs mail() function to send an attachment because some of the codes i've seen are completly beyond me and I just need something simple to start off with

Thats the thing, its not simple. The simplest solution would to use PEAR's mail class, thats easy.

you would have to read about MIME headers if you are going to write your own scripts for sending attachments and these are not so simple you need some reading and a lot of practice
