Lord-Dragon is back up....he's now offering unlimited space and transfer. All the other features- mySQL, PHP, CGI, etc. too....And yes it is unlimited (to about 300MB, and 10GB transfer) but it could go higher cuz his host is unlimited space/transfer (I showed him the host)...to all who don't mind paying VERY LITTLE for hosting----go to ebay and search for hosting. I found 1GB space/10GB transfer for $20/YEAR!!! includes domain if I'm not mistaken.....great deals!!

Now that is the last place on this planet you'll ever find me looking for a host. Hosting offers on ebay are mostly a sham in one way or another, I suggest you start looking elsewhere.

Ow gosh, those look like limits to me. Hmmm, anybody want to join me and make a quick buck off a false advertising case :devious2:

Here we go again with the eternal myth of 'unlimited'.

I found 1GB space/10GB transfer for $20/YEAR!!!

Hmmm, let's say the host pays $60 per MBIT of bandwidth a month (and that's quite cheap). Let's say he get's about 80% usage out of that.

$60 / 320 = $0.18 per GIG / month (and this is rounded down)
$0.18 / 100 * 20 = 0.036
Actual cost per GIG = $0.18 + $0.036 = $0.216
So for 10 GIG: 10 * $0.216 = $2.16

I repeat, this is at cheap bandwidth pricing, though Cogent only would be a little cheaper.

So for a year, that's $26 for bandwidth only. Do you really think they'll be wanting to take a loss? You need to factor in costs for server space, hardware, support,...

To say it in one sentence:

TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE !!!

Yeah, if that were a free host, I'd say give it a go, but since they're a suspiciously cheap pay host, I'd say it's a scam. They will disappear with your money at prices that cheap, and more than likely, that's what they plan on doing. At least with a free host, the only thing you have to lose is time.
