looking for a server

to run a large forum on, the forum will have adult content ie: language, and peoples own person opinons as any forum.

also would prefer the server had image software so I can run a gallery along side my forum.
 
Do you need a dedicated server or what? If so, this post is in the wrong forum. If not, I can help you out. How much space and BW do you need, and what is your budget?
 
First of all,

Lets see what you are needing and are qualified for. Will there be adult content such as images and video? Also, how many users does this forum have?

There wont be any video, no porn videos atleaste. The images, no child porno or anything like that, probably a set of boobs in the galleries here and there from female members. other than that as for adult content, the launguage, thats it.

starting out something like 3g storage and whatever the suggested bandwidth would be, I will probably be upgrading both later, but want to start small first, don't need a huge amount of space when I'm only starting with say 30 members and growing.

And for 3 gb u need dedicated thats not a good idea as dedicated with 3 gb space dont usually exists and minimum dedicated starts with 69$ . So maybe u should aim at getting vps if ur so keen into having ssh or for other reason u didnt specify the need of dedicated.

I already did the live chat on your site, and the advisor told me nothing on the site should be objectional?
