Heya! im just wondering if anyone knows of any of the BIG! free web hosting companys, that have been around for years, im just wondering!

I've been in the industry for several years and I keep an eye on things.

Jan is right. Tripod.com and Geocities.com are by far the largest and oldest.

yeah but who can really do much on them.. sure you can have plain html pages but that is about it.

don't think so, but they offer a good knowledge base if i am correct.

date for Clubhost City was January 2, 1997.

AVOID BUILDTOLEARN! They had a month of sql downtime a few weeks back, their getting unreliable. Also: one of their mods is a total idiot. total.

Indeed. They've been hosting webpages since '94. I'm not sure any can beat that.
