Learning About Computers

Are ther esome websites out there that give techinical information about the parts of a computer such as the hard drive, cpu, ram, etc. that I can look at? I don't need incredibly basic information but a more detailed look at what the parts do and what terms like hyper threading or the difference between ram types.

This is good, but i am looking at this more to see what parts would be the best/needed for building my own computer, are there any sites that are more geared towards that aspect?
