I don't like being tied to terms and conditions. This is why I built my computer from scratch. I will post the pros and cons of what I prefer... to be fair.
The pros: I put whatever what I want inside it, I choose what case I want ,and whatever else. And it ends up being cheaper then what you can buy prebuilt in the store, and faster too. It's built to your specifications, and you can gain a lot of knowledge and experience from building it yourself. In addition, the customization factor is virtually unlimited.

But I don't have a clear window side panel... though I could always buy the side panel if I wanted one. I would not trade this case for ANY mac case. Ever.
And the cons: There is no warranty on the entire machine and no customer service overall (though you can have it on particular parts... with a warranty... recently had a hard-drive sent back on a warranty). You also have to have some experience because it can be slightly complicated (especially with certain connections), as well as knowing that you need to have a sufficient power supply.
I think there are some beautiful PC cases out there. I prefer the streamlined, sleek 100% aluminum Lian-Li cases... they are expensive... the one I own is $129.99. But it has a huge upside of dissipating heat faster than steel cases and plastic ones.
And yes, Dynash, I do agree with you on the point about Mac OS... it's simple, but it's not practical for a lot of us.
I will always stick to building computers from scratch. I'm not tied to some unfair terms and conditions... and with PCs like with Dell or HP you can mess around with it inside, but you will void the warranty.

Tho I must say I'm liking Lian-Li's new line even more hahahah... I cannot spend more money right now! Nothing like that in an ugly Mac case.
