Not sure where else I can post this, so I'll try this section..

Hello,

Just a year ago, I started http://www.pimpmywalk.com. It's a site where people can learn how to C Walk, a dance that mainly involves the legs and feet.

I think it's quite a unique idea. It's one of the very few sites to offer c walk tutorials, most of which I've made myself.

It has already been featured on TV once: http://www.pimpmywalk.com/featured-on-tv.html

Ok, enough talk about the site..

My question:

Do you guys have any tips you'd like to share on how I can get big exposure / media exposure for my site? I honestly think it has a lot of potential, it just needs more exposure.

Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated! :)

Thanks in advance!

Interesting. Spending all of my teenage years in Atlanta (so far...), I'd never realized that there was a variation of the crip walk that wasn't gang-related.

But, no, I don't have any idea on how to promote your web site. Except by word-of-mouth.

paid inclusion to searchengines like yahoo and google? I guess it does cost a nice shiny nickle, or a hundred.

If you are looking for local traffic then just try to get top at google.com.au by concentrating SEO, getting backlinks, updating contents etc...
Also you can advertise your site by posting banners putting text links at other related sites.Promote your site at other hobby sites.

Offline promotion will also help you, you can sponsors few dancing completion or can organize competition.
