http://www.hostnexus.com s'promotion sounds great...

My main concern is two cgi script:

1) a cgi script with custom htaccess. Does this server support a cgi SQL script like this one http://www.widexl.com/scripts/ma-sql/members-admin-sql_info.html ? Does this support the mod_auth_mysql for apache, so can i be able to use it ?

2) and this who's online cgi script: http://www.widexl.com/scripts/visitors-online/index.html

These scripts are not working on my actual hoster :(

Those scripts look ok. I'm sure our programmer Mike could help you with them. He's on Live Chat 9-5pm CST. (When we get sleep ;) )

Hell, do you really think they offer 25gb of transfer for $8 a month?

Say $0.50/GB...

.5 x 25 = $12.50

Do you? lol :p

They do lots of overselling. If your *not* going to use the traffic, don't get stuck on a server with other sites that will. Go find a host that offers what you need, plus a little room to expand. Trying to find a host that offers everything you want so you don't have to move will only lead to more moves. :confused2

They also use low quality cogent bandwidth ;)

Ugg, yeah.. Almost anyone that get's bandwidth for less then $1-$2/GB is using some sort of crappy backbone provider.

Yep thats right or its single homed..

Regardless if the host is "single homed" or not, if they pick a good provider, you won't even need the secondary pipe. If all you use if cheap providers, then yeah "load em up".

Plus, even if the good provider goes down. A little downtime won't kill anyone.
