Fateback.com is reliable but really really really really really slooooooooow!! T35 is better. Anyway, I hope T35's new servers hurry up, as I'm not sure how much longer I can trust Gizba.com. Gizba is the opposite of Fateback, they're super fast but have had problems with deleting everyone's accounts and disappearing in the past - they keep resurfacing.
I've actually had a copy of my site on T35 since February, when they re-opened, and a copy was also on T35 November and December last year, until T35 had the incident with their servers being confiscated for having warez sites on them. T35 was also my site's main host February 19 - April 20 of this year, but then their problems started happening, and after that, I went to:
Gizba - April 20 - May 7
Their server ate everyone's files and they didn't accept new signups for a while.
Freewebsites - May 7 - May 11
I hosted with them for only for three days; they were never intended for me to permanently host with them, because they offer only 50 mb webspace and my site is currently up to 44.2 mb, which will only get bigger with time.
Hosting Extreme Free/CDIWeb - May 11 - July 29
I left them when they implemented their 5 mb daily websurfer transfer limit and because my next "host" was private (not open to anyone who can fill out a signup form).
Cartmanland.net - July 29 - September 8
This was a South Park fan site hosted under Uzipp.com's "all-unlimited" plan; they were also allowed to sub-host one website, and I was the first to apply, so they let me in, but, unfortunately, the chump owner couldn't keep his site up, and he dropped me along with his site.
Freehostempire - September 8 - October 13
They were the ultimate free webspace host - unmetered webspace, unmetered data transfer, no ads, fast servers, FTP access, allowed all file types under 250 kb in size; at least I thought they were ultimate, until I found the ugly catch - they have pornographic error 404 pages, and I even encountered them while browsing my website even though the pages/files exist (sometimes it would give me my page/file, sometimes it would flash the porno page); one of my site's visitors complained about it and that was the last time I used them, and unfortunately, the end of my lucky three month adless free hosting run.
Gizba (again) - October 13 - present
It's very likely they'll crash again, and I have a backup copy on Fateback because I can't trust Gizba for even a month, but when I'm back with T35, Fateback is history.
So yes, I'd say that out of all the free hosts I've been to (and the above aren't even all of them, just the ones since February of this year), T35 is the most reliable, and I hope to trust them as my site's main host again.
