is hostcall good?

They are very new, and with those rates, I don't see that they will ever make it to their first anniversary :chinese2:

That's not even $.10/gb of transfer - add up the CPanel licensing, server rental or ownership, any tech support costs. Unless they severely oversell their servers they aren't making a dime. I wouldn't be surprised if they were a scam or just plain didn't think things through before deciding on their pricing structure.

On another note, not to bring them down, it may just be my connection but, is anyone else having trouble reaching their site when you add the www.?

Just wondering. Again it might just be my ISP. =)

I find it very disturbing when someone asks a question about a host and the only replies are from 2 hosting providers who are bashing it. While I understand you are trying to help the customer, you are in the wrong busienss to be helping them.

I hate seeing that happen!

GREETINGS FELLOW MEMEBERS:

Correct! We are a new company if you compare us to the competition. Please do not let our plan price scare you away. We have PLENTY of bandwidth behind us, and we are able to deliver each client what we promise. Each and every MB out of 40,000MB bandwidth that we provide you with IS available to you! We have an office and support techs setup to service our help desk, and they are contracted for much more than a year! We are planning and hoping for a good year!

As stated above, we have plenty of bandwidth behind us, and we are ready to serve every single MB of it! Our manager has 4 years background experience in management of 3 major dedicated server providers. I do not believe he would setup a company to lose money - he does have plenty invested though!

Just tested both, with and without 'www.' extension, seems to be working the same - ISP: VERIZON - NY. Maybe it's the ISP on your side.

I am using Verizon as well. It is working now, just wasn't before.

Glad to hear that everything is resolving properly on your side!

You are also on VERIZON... - it's a small world, after all. :)

Note: Looks like they are using quality NAC bandwidth if i am not mistaken.

If you control your overselling on bandwidth, those rates may actually be possible. Remember. Not nearly every client uses the full 40GB.
