Hmm..!
What future holds for Invisionhost, now that it has been wholly bought by Netracom!
So soon! It is hardly 2 months old!
May be it will function like a re-seller.
Will the assuranes on the existing clients be kept?
Any light on the performance of Netracom and their business strategy and ethos?

That was a quick stint :confused:

90% of the time when a larger company makes a takeover bid and is successful you loose the personal service you have with your host/business :(
 
On further investigation I would be concerned, such a "big" company with false whois records?

Ahh well, I got my site hosting for free from Invision Host and I could care less if my site is pulled off-line.
 
Netracom will function Invisionhost as a SEPERATE business. Personal support shouldnt be that much changed. I believe that the support manager was kept. There will be NO price rise for anyone who has signed up already, as Netracom will function invisionhost as a seperate business. More details as they come up. Thank you.
 
Well, Netracom seems pathetic right of the bat.

No info at Whois(there is now) Domain registered via godaddy in May, no support pages...

It's owned by one of the datacentres we co-locate with.

It's Australian dollars which is approx $7.00 US!

But All clients are hosted in Australian Data Centre which charge 0.15 per mb of traffic.

Standard Australian Web hosting is $16.50 - $25.00

The Internet cost in Australia are on of the highest in the world.

Hence why we started to purchase smaller webhosting companies who operate offshore.
