I want to start my own board ...php

so first of all I need a hosting server which allows php...right?

I recommend using a remote host (like www.ezboard.com) if you're new to this PHP and MySQL business, unless you have a paid account on a paid host with very helpful support.

There are no stable ones without advertising, they have to pay the bill somehow.

Try www.invisionfree.com only a small banner I believe.

yea but invisionfree dont allow you to use a skin you want.They only let you use the default skin.Whats the point if you cant upload your own skin?:confused2
I'd reconmend ezboard for a remote hosted board

Build board using invisionborad is easy.
You just need hosting that support PHP and MySQL and of course enough space
You can get in
www.tripod.co.uk (I have tried)
www.spaceports.com (I not sure that MySQL will working)
Or free webhosting offer in thus thread
So... you just d/l invisionborad file that read installation guide...
