Seriously, I doubt a subdomain would make any difference to the visitors of your site. You're not going to find any ad-free hosts offering subdomains except for www.host.sk , which has always been indescribably slow (and from recent reports, sign-ups have been disabled). If you are willing to accept one banner ad or one pop-up, you can also try www.topcities.com .

I'm sure if you register on free hosting with a short username, you would be able to get a short "sub-directory" as your URL... wow - even more professional... :biggrin2:
