Is fateback a good host? Really how good r they

depends what you are looking for in a host

You can't have anything too advanced on fateback, cause there aren't a lot of features. But if all you need is decent space and FTP, then by all means, go with them.

Probably the second best host i've ever been with and i've been with:
Geoshities, Spaceports, Internations, Dreamwater, AMZ (who i am with currently), Topcities, Xoasis and Tripod UK

Nope, no ads. I think they're a very good host, actually. No downtime as far as I can remember, and I've been with them for a while.
