How do I make money from domain registration?

I am interested in settting up a website, which will provide domain registration for people who would like to buy domains. Is there any way to generate revenue from doing this, or will I be forced to generate revenue by hosting people's sites? Also, will I be able to generate revenue from providing people with free websites, with a possible pay upgrade option?


I would be grateful if anyone would spare a few minutes to answer my question.

If you need to ask such questions, I doubt that you're capable of setting up your own hosting company...

To find out how to sell domains go to http://www.icann.org/registrars/accreditation.htm and scroll down to "Becoming an ICANN-Accredited Registrar"

As far as setting up a hosting company that would take to much time to explain.
