HostNine Rip Off.

HostNine Live operators are rude.. It is not the first time they close the session because they can't answer the questions we ask. When we make a report someone from the "staff team" replies back saying that they have no logs of that session. They always say they don't have the logs. About the phone support I have had the same childish operator saying he doesn't care and hangs up on me. The best part is that he never says the name and since we don't have a magic crystal ball we can't report it at all.. Ben always denies all their mistakes and care more about their staff than clients. They are all the same.. looks like they are all cut with the same scissor. Maybe it is the same person with different names? Who knows!

Downtimes are horrible, Their servers overload everyday causing downtimes of 3 to 10 minutes, sometimes a little more. EVERY SINGLE DAY and they keep denying everything I say.

I already decided to move my website to spry.com they offer the best services out there. They have the latest cPanel version and it is faster than Hostnine.

Anyways, HostNine cPanel is version 10 and OLD, their support is rude.. staff team always deny their faults and/or mistakes.

You can use a site like www.host-tracker.com and place http://74.200.204.106/ and make it monitor every 1 minute.. The IP that im posting is the shared IP from the server I was hosted at.

Their uptime is NOT 99.9%.. it is more like 80.0% Uptime.

All the members who gave negative feedbacks are IP Banned from the site and no longer have access to it unless they use proxies. :eek3:

The suck really back. Be aware of them.

though sites like http://www.hostninereview.org/ seem to contradict you in their uptime stats,
I just checked that website about 10 min ago and i saw the uptime stats and everything, and right now i tried to access it via browser and i got this:

Unable to connect

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.hostninereview.org.

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure

LOL, guess your right, to double check i tried a different url and also google, my internet seems to be working, the site just isn't.
 
They must've made some big changes recently. You'll notice that only recently, the service has gone downhill. If you look back into their customer history, about 90% of the reviews are good. However, you'll have customers that are never happy. I'm not saying that you're one of them, but there are some that you just can't please.

If I could suggest a hosting/reseller, I'd highly suggest Smoky Hosts. The support is above average, as they usually respond fairly quickly. But, I've rarely had to contact them, being the service doesn't usually have any problems.

Keep in mind, though, I've only been with them for about two weeks. But, look around, you'll see many happy customers of theirs.

http://www.hostninereview.org/ only monitors hostnine server which is a separate server from shared hosting accounts and resellers.

If you monitor the IP that I gave in my first post you will see what I'm talking about..

They only monitor it every 30 minutes which is a very long time to be monitoring a site.. make it 1 minute and they will notice the downtimes.

I was one of their customers and I was not happy about their operators.. they are always rude! and they scream at you if you contact them over the phone.. They use common sentences as:

Other hosting companies don't do this and that..
We don't have the logs of the chat..
We couldnt find your chat session..

And they always name other hosting companies just to cover their (you know what) they always deny the downtimes and I PROVIDED the proof and they kept denying... I wasnt monitoring their site on my own.. I was monitoring it using Host-Tracker every 1 minute for a full month and their uptime came up to be around 80% or some more...

I made this post in their forum and they deleted it, banned me in the forum, and then they IP banned me from their entire server..

That is just low. Just like everyone that works there.:eek3:

Yes, I'd agree, that is very unprofessional. Instead of actually fixing the problem, they try and justify it because "other companies have the same problem".

I'd noticed the Operations Manager use that line a lot.

Most uptime statistics are not accurate as they are monitoring the company site. That is why you can't base a companies uptime around the uptime stats they provide unless they provide stats per server. In most cases the company site is probably a hosting companies most stable site as it should be hosted outside their current network for support reasons and also on a server of its own.

Also, I'm not trying to play devils advocate but I can understand many companies reasoning for still being CPanel 10. CPanel 11 isn't very mature yet and there are still quite a number of bugs out there that haven't been resolved.
