Host for my forum (YaBB)

I don't know of any good free php boards out there, but if there is one, that would be great. I checked out the vbulletin board(link on bottom of page), but they cost money. They do have a free version, but it says it does not have all the features of the full one. Does anyone know what features are in the free one?

I think technics posted another one that I wanted to check out, but phpbb looks pretty decent (though probably not as bug-free as vBulletin).

It's about bb's generally...and also the bb that Technics proposed (was it tForum?)
To your original quostion: try Netfirms (no ssi yet) or Hypermart. Both of them seem to be fast. Also both with standard banner at the top of your every page.

http://www.ikonboard.com is a free perl board and it might end up being better than ubb and vbulliten.

Just to add something-a group of us web masters from 50megs just made a killer http://cultforums.netfirms.com ikonboard (the cult is what we decided to call outselves since there already wasa 50megs guild-we had a awesome group of folks in teh tech forum so you know how that goes...

Ikonboard is ok, but it lacks one very important feature, Guest Posting. I like to use guest posting to "jump start" the boards, so people will start posting. ) though.I've looked at http://www.portland.co.uk , but they only allow 100MB of transfer per month...which is not enough for my forums.
I have also tried spaceports.com, but their cgi server is slow as hell so Im still looking for a host. Any other suggestions for host?

chances are that it will be added in the next version or someone will make a hack for it because plenty of people have asked for it.
