hi I bought a site just the domain. I got a database I want to upload . Do I do that via my hoster ? Or via something else ? and how do I prove to one of them that I'm with the other.?

I guess pb3.5.4 is a forum?, I'm not 100% sure though. You'll need to make a database via. MySQL and then upload the forum script/software via. FTP.

Exactly ...let your hosting provider know what you want to do ..I am sure they will help you.

I would suggest since you bought that site from someone else, get that seller to assist you in uploading your site since he's the one that is most familiar with the DB.
