GMail Invitations back?

is the amount of invites given based on how actively the account is used? i receive email to my gmail account like once a week, and send out mail even less.

Yes, invites are back. I started getting them again last night. Looks like they are starting to acceept more users.

w00t I was so happy when I got it, that I gave it to my brother! I know OMG! But hey, if I got one today more must be on the way! Plus, I don't even use the account, like I've only used it to make two back-ups of my website and that's it! And I'll i got was an e-mail with the link to back-up files! So its not based on usage!
