FTP program - which is the best?

FlashFXP is great with it's features, and one reason why I purchased this product was because of the free lifetime upgrades.

I used WS_FTP on earlier computers. When I was looking for FTP software for my latest XP, WS_FTP made registering difficult by saying it was only for teachers/educational use (some requirement like that?).

I tried FileZilla & I really like it. The only problem is that FileZilla will only accept a shortened password. I was able to use a long password with WS_FTP. I also appreciate FileZilla's visual qualities. FileZilla was a snap to learn. :classic2:

well, flashfxp for any fxp'ing naturally... otherwise ws_ftp pro is the best. it has everything you need.

don't confuse ws_ftp le or whatever the free version is called with ws_ftp pro, they're very different...

ws_ftp le for sure! free and so so simple. been my companion for years, will never upgrade to something flashy.

just like download managers, getbot (www.getbot.com) is all you will ever need. simple freeware program without all the useless features.
