When you get mySQL working, youll find more problems with hosting a forum on a free host like unreliablity and speed!!

If you need a forum, go remote! www.boardnation.com www.iboardplus.com ,heck even ezboard is better than one on a free host.......well maybe not

BoardNation's banners are very rare. But really, ad-free boards don't exist, so you will to leave with something eventually. They aren't as bad as dk3's ads tho. These are regular banners ads that don't move around.:cool:
 
Yeah, this dk3 ads are really annoying..

but have any of this forums polish version ?? it is the most important option for most of my boards users...
 
heh, dk3 with his phpBB2 gives me this otion.. but ads ...

and at others i didn't find it - but if someone knows how to change language on www.proboards.com or www.boardnation.com ?! Is it possible or not ??



And, i i have good working host with php/MySQL, I will run my own phpBB2 with polish language...

We fully support PHP's mail() function at AMZ Web Hosting
but we do monitor it's use very closely.

That's it precisely! We are 100% intolerant of mail spammers.
We ban abusers without warning on the first offense, blacklist
them in the area they live, and in most cases will have their ISP
account terminated as well thanks to a close alliance with
many of the major ISPs around the world.

For legitimate purposes though such as web site contact forms,
feedback messages, forum notices, etc. we don't have any
problem with anyone using the PHP mail() function and that's
why it's there.

The posting requirements are very easy .... We have many
topics on the forum community to chat about and with hosting
only requiring 10 good qualifying posts, it's easy! Many of our
members actually come for the forum community itself.

If you can't handle that, you really do need to look elsewhere.
The whole entire policy is designed specifically to weed out people
not worthy of web hosting :rolleyes: It works very well because
it is always those same people that are the ones to whine and
complain about the otherwise easy posting requirements.

Our FREE hosting service is truly the best in the industry but the
hosting service is limited to our forum community members only
and not the average general public.
