free host that allows zip and mp3s

I was wondering if anyone knew of a decent host that allowed zip and mp3 files. Somewhere with a decent amount of space and ads that aren't too gawdy (no top frame ads or anything) I wanted to make a downloads page on my site (http://www.pixie.nu) when I redo it but don't have the room to do it with my current host and need to put the downloads page on a different host until I change over to dellz.com hosting for the domain.


If I have to I will zip the mp3s because most sites that allow aren't, in other ways, much of hosts - but only if I have to.

Run a search for Windows Media Tools 4.11.

I know what ASF is. I rarely use it for audio though. I mostly use it for streaming video.

ASF allows you to embed the audio codec you're using right into the file so anybody can hear it, even if they don't have the codec.

http://free.prohosting.com , except you probably won't like their ads and download pages.

http://www.freewebz.com has no ads and 100 MB... they don't allow MP3s, but they allow ZIPs.

Prohosting sucks! If you end up at one of their download pages, and you click the download link, it will just loop around and around until you give up trying. It will never download the file.

I have a solution to your problem. You can find a host that excepts larger file downloads and for .mp3 files than before you upload the files you can convert the file name to something different like a .hello file, anything you choose and then convert the file name back once its downloaded. All you need is a program to convert the file. You can get this program at...http://themusiclover.webprovider.com/chgtype.zip
