First of all, I have to say I've been with many, many hosting companies, all of them free. Almost all of them went down for different reasons.
I registered 16th December 08, I started to post and requested for an account. I got it very quickly and transferred my site.
What do you think about TWW?
One word, amazing!
I've had about 3 downtimes since I joined and 2 of them were scheduled! This is very nice for a free web host. There are no laggs at all, the servers run very fast and smooth. Another thing I like very much is that you can choose what server you want to be hosted on. About the posting. The thing about a post4host is that you have a required amount of posts you have to post each month, at least in my case I posted my posts and those posts weren't the best, often short and I would call them "spam". But with TWW you have to post 10 posts per month to keep your hosting active and you get TWWC for posting which you later can use to buy hosting, upgrades and even TLD (Top level domains) which is fantastic! Now, think about this. You get TWW just by posting and you can buy domains for them. Most of you could say, "Those domains must cost an outrages amount of TWW". No, they are not. By being active you will have a domain faster than you think, much faster.
Another thing about TWW, their contests are way better than most other companies. I remember being with one, to participate in the contest you had to post about 500 posts, then sign-up on a couple of referring links and something more, I don't remember. I think this was a .info domain. What do you have to do to get a domain in a contest here at TWW? Actually, I just won a domain just by posting 1 post. The minimum post requirement was 50 posts!! The winners, you heard me, 2 winners would choose from 9 domains and another 2 people who was in the contest won a .info domain. Isn't that cool?
Hosting plans, satisfied?
More than happy with them. My sites are basically forums so they do not require much space, only bandwidth. But the amount of space and bandwidth you get are more then you need, at least from a free host. All the accounts have fantastico and such, which is a extra. You can easily upgrade/downgrade your account at any time, which is nice. TWW are also offering Reseller, which is a nice thing for those in hosting thoughts.
What about the Admins and Mods around here, are they any good?
I would like to say Thank you to every Staff member here at TWW. You are doing a fantastic job! I have an example, remember I told you there had been about 3 downtimes, 2 of them scheduled. The other day there were one, I was trying to acces my site but I wouldn't. I thought, the server have most likely crashed. Anyways, I went onto this forum and found a thread about the issue and I was really surprised, no I wasn't because this is TWW. Most of the other I've been with you could wait for hours and hours with no info what so ever. Another good thing is all of the mods, there are hardly no spam at all and that is a good thing. Spam such as warez are annoying. They are also very friendly and positive and of course helpful.
How would you rate TWW?
I would easily rate TWW 10/10. Because there is nothing to complain about, it has everything a free host should have and lots more.
