My girlfriend still uses Netscape

She changed to IE when Netscape died for a while and changed back when they came out with the first tabbed version (7.2?). I personally use & prefer FF 1.0.6

Firefox is definatly the way to go, but a lot of times I've to switch back to IE for certain websites.

ex. my online courses sites, mtv sites, etc.

used firefox for some time, its a wonderful piece of software.. but i guess since i have used IE longer, i like it a lot better : )

New studies suggest that firefox is as slow as internet explorer on windows. The only thing that seems faster is k-meleon.
