I'm just wondering, is it possible to remove such ads as this one:

As there are people under the age of 18, and this is not really the kind of ad that should be on a webmaster forum anyway.

Disclaimer: I can see that the ad above was for "GayCupid" and this thread has nothing to do with the fact it was Gay (Nothing against homosexual people), I would have done the same if it was "StraightCupid" or something
 
Ad's from google are based on tracking cookies and stored entires to where your IP has been visiting.

Google seems to think that your IP, or computer, visits alot of gay pr0n sites. Might be something you want to avoid if you see these adverts alot ;)

I've never seen an ad, or any ad like that - But they are targeted, and I dont visit gay porn sites like someone in your household does :p
 
Maybe google are strange people who use these forums and realised Jan wouldn't provide a porn forum. Therefore Google thought THEY would provide the porn to make us like them?
 
Erm, I see no gay ad. only one from homestead, are you sure its not cookies Google is basing the ad off??

you can also block certain ads in adsense.

Yeah, I'm really sure. I'm not even at home and it's come up on this brand new, out of the box computer too, as well as my laptop at home. Maybe it's doing that because I'm in NZ?
 
Never once have i seen that ad.

Not in the 2 threads listed either...

Always the bland unexciting Homestead one
