Does Coke remove rust?

Well, not sure if you're just being a moron or whatever, but a ph of 7 is neutral, the higher the ph is, the more basic it is, the lower it is, the more acidic it is.

And even if it wasnt...

1. The pool is a far wider area.
2. You dont drink the poolwater

Interestingly enough, I used coke to remove corrosion on my car's battery posts. No amount of scrubbing coulda done what a single can of coke did just from soaking it!

Rust. Hmm. There are two types of rust though. Surface rust, which hasn't dug it's way into the metal yet, like what you might see on your car's rotors the morning after a good rain shower....and then there's rust eating into the metal..like on any 1980's Ford ;) Save the coke for yourself. You'll build up quite a thirst when you're out there with sandpaper and/or a drill w/ a wire brush attachment. :p
