copywrite laws?

Does anyone here know much about copywrite when it comes to cheat codes for pc games? Because i'm making this gaming site that will have heaps of cheat codes on it and was wondering if I'm allowed or not to get them of other site and magazines ect.

If they were submitted from someone, you legally have to put the "Submitted By bla bla", and if it's taken from another site word to word, you have to put a reference atleast.
