EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

LAW ENFORCEMENT :

I was arrested in Kennebunkport, Maine, in 1976 for driving under the influence of alcohol. I pled guilty, paid a fine, and had my driver's license suspended for 30 days. My Texas driving record has been "lost" and is not available.

MILITARY :

I joined the Texas Air National Guard and went AWOL. I refusedto take a drug test or answer any questions about my drug use. By joining the Texas Air National Guard, I was able to avoid combat duty in Vietnam.

COLLEGE :

I graduated from Yale University with a low C average. I was a cheerleader.

PAST WORK EXPERIENCE :

I ran for US Congress and lost. I began my career in the oil business in Midland, Texas, in 1975. I bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas. The company went bankrupt shortly after I sold all my stock.

I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took land using taxpayer money. With the help of my father and our right-wing friends in the oil industry (including Enron CEO Ken Lay), I was elected governor of Texas.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS GOVERNOR :

I changed Texas pollution laws to favor power and oil companies, making Texas the most polluted state in the Union. During my tenure, Houston replaced Los Angeles as the most smog-ridden city in America.

I cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas treasury to the tune of billions in borrowed money.I set the record for the most executions by any governor in American history.

With the help of my brother, the governor of Florida, and my father's appointments to the Supreme Court, I became President after losing by over 500,000 votes.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PRESIDENT :

I invaded and occupied two countries at a continuing cost of over one billion dollars per week.

I spent the US surplus and effectively bankrupted the US Treasury.

I shattered the record for the largest annual deficit in US history.

I set an economic record for most private bankruptcies filed in any 12-month period.

I set the all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of the US stock market.

I am the first President in US history to enter office with a criminal record.

I set the all-time record for most days on vacation in any one-year period.

After taking off the entire month of August, I presided over the worst security failure in US history.

I am supporting development of a nuclear "Tactical Bunker Buster," a WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction).

In my State of the Union Address, I lied about our reasons for attacking Iraq, and then blamed the lies on our British friends.

I set the record for most campaign fundraising trips by a US President.

In my first year in office, over 2 million Americans lost their jobs and that trend continues every month.

I set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12-month period.

I appointed more convicted criminals to administration than any President in US history.

I set the record for least number of press conferences of any President since the advent of television.

I presided over the biggest energy crisis in US history and refused to intervene when corruption involving the oil industry was revealed.

I presided over the highest gasoline prices in US history.

I have cut health care benefits for war veterans and support a cut in duty benefits for active duty troops and their families -- in wartime.

I have set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously protest me in public venues (15 million people), shattering the record for protest against any person in the history of mankind.

I've broken more international treaties than any President in US history.

I'm proud that the members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in US history. My "poorest millionaire," Condoleeza Rice, has a Chevron oil tanker named after her.

I am the first President in US history to order an unprovoked, preemptive attack and the military occupation of a sovereign nation. I did so against the will of the United Nations, the majority of US citizens, and the world community.

I created the Ministry of Homeland Security, the largest bureaucracy in the history of the United States government.

I am the first President in US history to have the United Nations remove the US from the Human Rights Commission.

I withdrew the US from the World Court of Law.

I refused to allow inspector's access to US "prisoners of war" detainees and thereby have refused to abide by the Geneva Convention.

I am the first President in history to refuse United Nations election inspectors (during the 2002 US election).

I am the all-time US and world record-holder for receiving the most corporate campaign donations.

My largest lifetime campaign contributor, and one of my best friends, Kenneth Lay, presided over the largest corporate bankruptcy fraud in US history. My political party used Enron private jets and corporate attorneys to assure my success with the US Supreme Court during my election decision.

I have protected my friends at Enron and Halliburton against investigation or prosecution. More time and money was spent investigating the Monica Lewinsky affair than has been spent investigating one of the biggest corporate rip-offs in history.

I garnered the most sympathy for the US after the World Trade Center attacks and less than a year later made the US the most hated country in the world, the largest failure of diplomacy in world history.

I am the first President in history to have a majority of Europeans (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and security.

I changed the US policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts.

I have so far failed to fulfill my pledge to bring Osama Bin Laden to justice.

RECORDS AND REFERENCES:

All records of my tenure as governor of Texas are now in my father's library, sealed and unavailable for public view.

All records of SEC investigations into my insider trading and my bankrupt companies are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view.

All records or minutes from meetings that I, or my Vice-president, attended regarding public energy policy are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public review.

yup...fairly recently. I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict the same tired arguments are going to pop up on this thread as well.

I'll get some popcorn, and some make this thread better juice.

Unless the Government is appointed by the Supreme Court. :confused5

This post doesn't even warrant a response as its full of Michael Moore-ish lies.

Examine all the blatant lies Michael Moore put into his Bowling for Columbine movie: http://www.hardylaw.net/Truth_About_Bowling.html

It's sickening.

Michael Moore's "Bowling for Columbine" won the Oscar for best documentary. Unfortunately, it is not a documentary, by the Academy's own definition.

The injustice here is not so much to the viewer, as to the independent producers of real documentaries. These struggle in a field which receives but a fraction of the recognition and financing of the "entertainment industry." They are protected by Academy rules limiting the documentary competition to nonfiction.

Bowling is fiction. It makes its points by deceiving and by misleading the viewer. Statements are made which are false. Moore leads the reader to draw inferences which he must have known were wrong. Indeed, even speeches shown on screen are heavily edited, so that sentences are assembled in the speaker's voice, but which were not sentences he uttered. Bowling uses deception as its primary tool of persuasion and effect.

A film which does this may be a commercial success. It may be entertaining. But it is not a documentary. One need only consult Rule 12 of the rules for the Academy Award: a documentary is a non-fictional movie.

The point is not that Bowling is biased. No, the point is that Bowling is deliberately, seriously, and consistently deceptive.

So Mr. Bush wasn't arrested for DUI?

so Mr. Bush isn't the first President to be appointed by the supreme court?

I don't think all the stuff listed is a fact, but there are some true statements.

There is no need to directly insult someone.

The Republicans do a good enough job at name calling as it is, no need to lower yourself.

Let me ask you a question: What's more sickening?

a) some dude who did a movie and people debate if its a documentary film or not

or

b) some president that with no reason at all, besides family pride, ruined a country, killed innocent people, made a mess and dosn't give a shit.

I could go as far as to compare bush to stalin.
Bush wanted to spread americanizm to other countries, just like stalin wanted to spread communism.

I don't care if he got busted for driving drunk or graduated with a C- or A+. He might of done some good things for his country, I dunno, I don't live there, but as far as I know, I would NOT vote for him under any circumstances. No good thing that he might of done could ever repay the chaos of his greedy iraq war.

Yeesh...I saw this coming. Ok, here's the thing about Michael Moore. BFC is definitely ravaged by propaganda, but the underlying point of his movie comes through loud and clear. Certainly a lot of the things in BFC are not true, and some points are irrelevant, I'll be the first to admit it. But he makes you think. some stats are true. Some ideas are noble, and all in all, he does expose the fact that there are some major problems with the current political status of the U.S.A, albeit somewhat skewed. It's no different than the propaganda that people sling out against Michael Moore.

Obviously the White House and all the corruption associated with it these days has to be cleaned up. I don't think Kerry is the answer, but obviously Bush isn't either. American voters are in for a real tough election, I must admit.

er, i believe stalin killed 25 million of his own people. i dont think bush has done that yet. :p

but, in comparison, bush is putting a lot of people out of jobs by letting FTAA and NAFTA crap go on, effectively letting coorporations use foreigners to work for cheaper, rather than let americans work ..and lose jobs, etc; since less money, i guess you can infer they have less money to pay taxes? so.. america will just get poorer... too bad cooperations and rich don't pay as many taxes. like they need to preserve their money.

even stalin had the decency to have his own people work in his own country. well... he forced them to. but, atleast he had them work and not some foreigners. :p

Thanks for proving me correct. You cannot debate the issues because you'd lose every time so you resort to ad hominem attacks. I think you have just proven that YOU are nothing but a biased left-winged hippy whose opinions don't matter. (...zing! how's that feel?) Oh and BTW, I do not live in the south, nor am I a naturally born American citizen (I'm an immigrant who came here because it's the greatest, most freedom loving nation on earth - despite liberal attempts to change that).

but, in comparison, bush is putting a lot of people out of jobs by letting FTAA and NAFTA crap go on

So what did Clinton do to stop it? He was in power for 8 years! He did NOTHING to stop it! In fact, he embraced it. Same with HEALTHCARE.. Clinton had power for 8 years, including 2 years where Democrats controlled Congress and THEY DIDNT PASS any universal healthcare as they promised. And now BUSH is blamed for these issues?

Liberals are so hipocritical. You have no principles. Your opinions of right and wrong change depending on what kind of political points you can score by going with a certain position.

When Clinton was proposing a war on Iraq to remove Saddam in 1998, Democrats and leftists rallied around him. When George W. Bush proposes the same thing for the same reasons the same people who stood by Clinton call him a murder and scumbag. Why? Because Republicans stand to gain politically from a well executed War on Terror and a successful showing in Iraq.

Democrats put their regaining their own power ahead of the interests of America and the world. In fact, they have positioned themselves politically in such a way that they can win ONLY when America loses.

The Democrats are HOPING for high unemployment, more terror attacks, more intelligence failures, more death and destruction, because that is the ONLY way they can hope to defeat George Bush. It's SICKENING and is the reason why George Bush WILL win big in 2004 - as Republicans did in 2002.

I could go as far as to compare bush to stalin.

This is another great example of how extreme the American left is(even though you're a Canadian leftist, there is really no difference between the two nations' leftists). The left has gotten so fringe, radical, and out of the mainstream after Florida 2000 that they don't have a PRAYER in winning a nationwide election.

While your seething hatred for Bush is going to turn out extremist leftists to the polls in November, it will not win you any votes you dont already have in your pocket because THE AMERICAN PEOPLE DO NOT HATE GEORGE W BUSH. They just don't. And they know better than to vote for leftists who are nothing more than political opportunists who do nothing but flip flop on issues and tell every group what they want to hear so they'd vote for them.

The American people are smart and they see right through it. That's why according to the latest CBS polls Bush is leading Kerry by 8 points (46% to 38%) and that lead is only getting bigger as leftists expose themselves.

So Do yourselves a favor and realize you're extreme radicals much closer to Stalin in ideology than Bush ever can or will be. And international leftists: quit trying to destroy America because of your envy.

Also worth noting, regarding Iraq:

58 percent said attacking Iraq was right

(poll: http://quote.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=10000103&sid=awSqJiSWrGdI&refer=us )

hitler did it. he won. :p and.. i dont know why the american people would re-elect bush ... if they associate bush with high unemployment, terror attacks, intelligence failures, death and destruction (and please, don't say the american people are "smarter than that". you're giving them too much credit--most of them are idiots, and the intellects could go either way).

and.. i believe in 2002 the republicans had sympathy... because not as many atrocities had happened yet.

THE AMERICAN PEOPLE DO NOT HATE GEORGE W BUSH. They just don't. And they know better than to vote for leftists who are nothing more than political opportunists who do nothing but flip flop on issues and tell every group what they want to hear so they'd vote for them.
you're right! not only do the american people hate george bush, they also think he's a dumbass :applaudin i think you just see it as though the americans don't hate him because of your environment--you surround yourself around people who love him. other than that, you are subject to belief perseverance and belief bias.
The American people are smart and they see right through it.
again giving the american people too much credit on their intelligence :biggrin2:

and i wouldnt go by what a poll says. not only can those be highly inaccurate (in terms of population being reached), the shown results can be manipulated.

you're right! not only do the american people hate george bush, they also think he's a dumbass

Bush's approval rating: 52%

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/Bush_Job_Approval.htm

These numbers hardly show a nation "hating" their President.
Oh, and here's a kicker:

Over half of Americans have positive feelings about the Bush administration, including 15 percent who are “enthusiastic” and 38 percent “satisfied, but not enthusiastic,” while about a quarter say they feel “dissatisfied, but not angry” and 18 percent are “angry.”

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,113412,00.html

18% percent is hardly representative of Americans as a whole. I guess number of Americans who hate Bush and are "angry" at him is quite small, despite the best efforts by the left to destroy the man. It's proof that liberalism is not mainstream, and radical leftist bush-hating is BY FAR not anywhere NEAR being widespread anywhere but College Campii, the DNC HQ, and Socialist Club meetings.

....

Do you really believe that Americans hate Bush or are you knowingly lying?

Either way you're either a) ignorant, because your position is disproven by facts or b) a terrible, partisan liar.

Take your pick.

(oh, and who'se arguments are 'nothing but rhetoric' now?) there's a reason the Jackass is the symbol of the Democrat party....

Clinton didn't lie to the American people and use 9-11 as an excuse and tell the American people that there was clean evidence that WHM existed.

Bush has failed America with his incompetence, and betrayed us with his lies. His administration is a manifest fraud that has committed a monstrous and ongoing series of crimes against humanity and the republic.

He WILL NOT win re-election. It's simple as that.

and tell the American people that there was clean evidence that WHM existed.

Oh really?

"Saddam (Hussein) must not be allowed to threaten his neighbors or the world with nuclear arms, poison gas or biological weapons," Clinton said.

...

"Earlier today I ordered America's armed forces to strike military and security targets in Iraq. They are joined by British forces," Clinton said.

"Their mission is to attack Iraq's nuclear, chemical and biological weapons programs and its military capacity to threaten its neighbors," said Clinton.

Clinton also stated that, while other countries also had weapons of mass destruction, Hussein is in a different category because he has used such weapons against his own people and against his neighbors.

...

"The best way to end that threat once and for all is with a new Iraqi government -- a government ready to live in peace with its neighbors, a government that respects the rights of its people," Clinton said.

Such a change in Baghdad would take time and effort, Clinton said, adding that his administration would work with Iraqi opposition forces.

http://www.cnn.com/US/9812/16/clinton.iraq.speech/

....ZING!!

He WILL NOT win re-election. It's simple as that.

You may want to reconsider that, given the facts:

1. Kerry is a flip flopper who is increasingly seen as a massachussets liberal soft on defense and out of touch with America

2. Bush's 105 Million in the bank for Ads, while Kerry's campaign is 5 million in debt (2 million on hand, 7 million in debts).

3. Bush IS liked by the people on a personal level, as well as having a majority of people approve the job he's doing. He's also STRONG on terrorism in the eyes of the US Public.

4. Bush is winning in the polls again, and it doesn't look good for Kerry.

Sure anything can happen, but right now all indicators show Bush is on his way to re-election.

Wow.. what a waste of my time.

It's obvious Bush used the American people to believe that Saddam was behind the 9-11.. and he focused on Saddam the whole time. But of course, you don't believe Richard Clarke right?

According to the website you posted,

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/Presidential_Tracking_Poll.htm

Bush is 47% and Kerry is 45%

Mr Bushie is going down.

WHen it's time for us to retire and there is no more money, blame it on Bushie.

He's a disgrace to this country, to our people, and to the real Americans. Mr. DUI. Please what a waste of an American President and American 4 years.

He managed to raise the deficit by 1.4x trillion.. it took Clinton 8 years to do that same.:angry2:

47>45... so how does that show Bush losing?

And that doesn't put in Ralph Nader into the equation - and he IS running. That's why the more accurate poll is the CBS poll I posted earlier with Nader in the equation thats shows Bush 46, Kerry 38, Nader 7.

But of course, you don't believe Richard Clarke right?

No, I don't. Because he wasn't in the loop. In fact here's some news for you to choke on regarding his credibility:

http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=sto.../ap_on_go_pr_wh/terrorism_adviser_3&printer=1

and here's a transcript of a discussion with Dick Cheney from the Rush Limbaugh program when Cheney called in to discuss the matter:

http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/da..._to_rush__clarke__not_in_the_loop_.guest.html

Face it, he's just not credible.

You don't think its a coincidence that this book comes out during election season, right? While John Kerry is on 'vacation'? And why weren
t Clarke's cerdibility and facts challenged by CBS's 60 Minutes? Viacom happens to own both, 60 Mins AND his book. (and they have a liberal bias) Coincidence? I think not.

It's plain obvious this is more Democrat political strategy being unveiled. And it's just not going to work. Like I said, the American people are smarter than to fall for their tactics anymore, because liberals no longer have a monopoly on the media and on political discussion - yet they're acting like they do.

So what does the article say? Clarke was a suck up? So? Where does it say "Mr. President, you did a fine job at handlign Osama Bin Laden and Saddam. You make the correct choices for the better America".

No where.

Interesting you bring up Ralph Nadar.. hoping he'll continue to run to hurt Kerry and let Bush win again? Only way to win.

$10 bucks says that history will repeat itself.. Florida will somehow "screw up" the votes, President Bush will be re-elected by the Supreme Court and anotjer 4 years of hell will go on.

Funny how Florida, who's Governor is Bush's brother, was the one with problems during the 2000 elections?

Mr. Bush.. who went AWOL. Come on.. what a disgrace to our country.
