I signed on with Spaceports to host my personal site, and left exactly four days later. While their basic "planet" servers are okay for plain HTML sites made by intermediate to advanced level users, you'll have to apply for space on their CGI-BIN server if you want to use CGI and SSI.
A warning on that: their CGI-BIN server is NOT friendly towards URL redirection and free-domain services (e.g. NameZero). Pointing your URL-redirection to your Spaceports CGI-BIN server address doesn't work; there's a certain workaround you need to do to make it work, which involvs pointing the URL-redirection to a page on your planet server space, then redirecting that to your CGI-BIN space. I didn't want to bother with such a tedious workaround, so right now I'm just using a folder in my design site on Hypermart for my personal page.
I have my doubts about Spaceports' stability. Word on their support forums (not too credible, I know) is that they're losing thousands everyday and have had to resort to annoying full-screen 404 error pages with popups to recoup lost revenue. I've seen those 404 pages for myself, and they are obtrusive and obnoxious. They resize themselves to full screen and pop up a dialog asking if you want to make CJB.NET your home page.
Have heard good things about their paid hosting, though. Tera-Byte, I think it's called.
