so, my bday was yesterday, thanks to everyone that wrote to me, but, one of the cool things i got was this awesome geek hard drive clock that this local artist makes out of old hard drives.

if you get an itch to get one too, you can get them at Time Recycled

Looks sweet. Have you seen that (very old) video of the LED powered one with the colour patterns? I've always wanted to get one of those.

i have seen the LED one before, but, i thought these were more simple, but, a bit more artistic to me. love it.

Technically, the clock's visibility is not very good, the color of hands should be different with background, maybe blue or yellow will be better. But this thing is still cool!

there are ones that have black cases and red hands, i just liked it all red.

What a great idea! I'd love one of these, but shipping to the UK puts the pricing up to $70... Very tempting though!
