From March 1994 to August 2006, Apples used PowerPC processors in their computers. Before then, they used Motorola processors. After the PowerPC processors, it was Intel x86 and Core.

Apple even named one of their computer lines, PowerPC.

But Power PC processors are not exclusive to Macs. They didn't even develop them by themselves, it was done in conjunction with Motorola and IBM. Anyways, Apples are PCs too, they used to be called Power PC.

IMO, both are top brands but I prefer Apple because these days its graph is moving upwards as compared to Microsoft. Everyone is choosing to buy Apple products even I’m a big fan of it and I am using iPhone and iPad touch.
