Can anyone list the best free hosting companies with adsfree and cPanel? A company that has been providing free hosting for a year, two or more..

I know there is a post with some host links but I cant find them now... :knockedou

nope, sorry. just spend a little and get a reliable host. just my opinion and from my experience, free hosting sucks. to many problems, but there are a few decent ones here.

clubhost is a good one.. their support is not so good thou... I signed up & Im waiting for my activation.. I read some weeks ago a post that some member posted about some them and it was really dissapointing.. I didnt know they replied like that to a customer.

isolated case or not, thats not how you speak to someone

best advice: eat a mcchicken or two less per month and get some fine paid hosting instead/

Usually free hosts are unknown. Which means their reliability will probably be garbage. You might register for free hosting put all your work on it, and in the next month or so the hosting might collapse. :tired2: I suggest you look for known web hosts, and there's many here and get some free web hosting from them. Or, if you want more space, and all that good stuff + probably more reliability I suggest you spend some money. :p
 
Real "free host" are few and far. If you have to wait for a good one so be it. And as far as support goes jeez its free. As long as your site is online, Its up to you to make it happen.

Then there is me...
 
This is a disgrace!

The same ole tired paid webhosting FUD on FREEwebspace.net? Come on..

Paid webhosting certainly has clients all its own and it definitely has its place in business or mission critical webhosting but, there are some good free webhosting providers out there too that meet the needs of a smaller website. :)

The three that have been around for long enough to make my list are (in no order at all):

http://www.buildtolearn.com/
http://www.clubhost.us/
http://www.lifelesspeople.com/
 
Best bet is forum post hosting.
It's crazy. but, No alternatives.
Dont say AD hosting or Instant activation, It is always overhosted.
No pain No gain.

Most of them are yes I agree, but not all of them are.

What are the needed specs for your site?

GuruHost may beable to give you free hosting.

That would be Clubhost City which has been open for more
than 9 years but you apparently already know that since I
see that your post finished off listing us as #1 on your list! :)

Even though it does not meet the time requirement, you can
now probably add http://www.catch-free.com to that list as
we have officially taken over management of that service effective
yesterday and we will be making a lot of changes to give it the same
reliability and quality standards as those already at Clubhost City.

Where have you been lately, ~GURU~?

Anyway, I have been online and generally post daily except for
the past couple of weeks. Was home sick the past few weeks with
a pretty nasty case of food poisoning and posting on FWS did not
seem to be a high priority item for anyone in the company while
I was gone missing in action apparently.

On the contrary, we have absolutely the best support in the industry ....

Our support tickets are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by
19 localized support centers scattered throughout the entire globe
and I dare you to try to find that with any other free or even paid
hosting anywhere (I mean those we don't already own *LOL*).

Our support staff has a minimum of 7 years professional programming
and unix systems administration experience as a minimum requirement
to even apply for the job. Most exceed 15 years on average so the
level of technical expertise is unmatched anywhere.

Regarding your mention of the thread you talked about above, I am fully
aware of the thread to which you are referring and you should probably know
that entire thread was 100% completely bogus which is the reason why our
name was removed and stripped from that thread before it was locked here.
If you would like more details, please feel free to private message me and
I will give you the complete details.

Regarding you saying you are waiting for activation, we activate all
accounts immediately upon application submission and your login details
are shown to you on screen. If you are waiting for some sort of email
message, you are going to be waiting a very long time as we usually
don't send those out unless they are specifically requested.

To Tumble .... Catch-Free.Com would actually be the 56th addition to
our hosting group and is our 7th that provides free web hosting.

Hey if they don't want answers, they shouldn't ask questions
or make statements that otherwise get a response! :p

You ought to stop by and visit Catch-Free again. I saw you
were on a couple weeks ago and since we've taken things over,
we're trying to make things a bit more lively around there.
