advice needed

hi all
i know your probly are sick of posts like this but its my best option at the moment.
the forum has soo much information that im left dazzed. .im trying to figure where to go to get space to host a smallish forum / site.im pretty new at forums and pretty crap at sites .i was hoping to use wordpress or similar software to get the site running.im realy broke having smashed meself up on motorcycles a few times,and having 4 youngsters to provide for so paying just wont be an option for a while.
the site/forum will be mainly about old motorcycles and racing .
any help steering me in the right direction greatly apprieciated.
ill be posting on the forum more ,just at the moment im pretty raw at this stuff and dont wanna look stupid.
