Have you seen this story? :eek3: The FCC is proposing a fine of $1.4 million because ABC showed a woman's butt on NYPD Blue back in 2003. According to the FCC the scene was indecent because "it depicts sexual organs and excretory organs — specifically an adult woman's buttocks."

But it's OK to show two guys wrestling while one is trying to put lipstick on the other.

Or the murder scenes.

Or the domestic abuse scenes.

Violence is OK, but a butt cheek is sinful. Yep, Puritanical roots, right there.

the FCC is just out of control. so tired of their crap. i bet you if it was a mans button, there would be no complaint.
 
I'd like the FCC to be out of control long enough to slam Comcast back into the dark ages, but then they be burned at the stake, metaphorically speaking. Or literally, whatever.

comcast, as in the cable company? you live in AZ?
 
ah, ok. only time i ever heard of them is way out past east Mesa, AZ. Cox is what our main cable company is. do you guys not have cox cable in ATL?

Cox is actually headquartered here.

They just don't give us cable service. IIRC they service Macon and that area ...
 
This is crazy. If anything, it probably boosted ratings. Without shows that people cared to watch, the FCC wouldn't have jobs.

Oh dear. Showcase couldn't afford the fine, and that's just between KinK and Porno Valley alone. I love that channel. Get home late friday night and either be completely ----ing disgusted, or mildly excited.
