I am only concerned with this - can you host these CPU intensive scripts in a shared hosting environment?

The rest - I have no suggestions to offer you as you have already been running a VPS company. And I believe that you can run a free web hosting as long as you are earing money from selling VPS.

I'm using your host for few months now. And gotta say SOOOOOOOOOOO SLOOOOOOOWWWWW, I mean SO SLOW WHEN IT WORKS, because in 1 day my site won't work for at least 2-3 hours. So my recommendation is use this host but not for visited websites etc cause your clients will be going mad if you're on ECVPS SLOWEST HOST AROUND I WOULD SAY
