No, you do not need to buy any thing, at the first order form you must have your owned domain name, but you still have an option to get a free sudbmain with free hosting

Sorry for my anger in my previous post.... I really feel like defending the really FREE webhostings because we get blamed for not being completely FREE, or unstable, or downtime is enormous, or not lasting longer than 2 months....

GOOD FREE WEBHOSTING STILL EXISTS...... !!!

Don't understand where the other 2 get the info from then ?????

the domain hosting asking to have your owned domain, the subdmain hosting do not ask about your domain, you can host your domain and you can get a suddomain and you can host your URL redirecting service like .tk or ---------- by sellecting the subdomain option then you you can redirect your low level domain to your new subdomain hosting:)
 
i applied using pisj.net as domain but no reply only one email that says:
