True. Those old tibooks, which are widescreen and made out of titanium are speedy machines. Apple made it a point to not really force people to upgrade right away, which is why even Tiger runs smoothly on a 6 or 7 year old mac.

You can find a tibook on ebay for ~$500

iBooks are the consumer version of Powerbooks. Powerbooks are for power users. Macbooks and Macbook Pros are a new generation with Intel seepeeuz.
