WTF is portland doing?

Hi,

I registered a domain "erotic.mu". I tried zoneedit and mydomain, but I would like to give portland.co.uk a try.

Then, erotic.mu is not working, www.erotic.mu is being redirected to a sexy lingerie site in UK.

I have changed the dns at hot.mu to go back with zoneedit two days ago, but I still get the got the same result.

What is worng? Is it a protland problem? (since I have never redirect my domain to a lingerie site), or hot.mu problem? (since I have updated DNS to use zoneedit two days ago)

I have mailed hot.mu, but didn't get a reply.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

whoa mama...

that gal at the top of hot.mu... oh yeah.....

got weezer.mu, works fine & dandy for me.

OK, so at least the dns works for some people. I still can't access erotic.mu and www.erotic.mu be redirected to sexy-undies.com.

I just assume when I use portland.co.uk's domaincontroller, it adds the "redirect" to my site. But it's my domain, how could they do that?

I have changed the redirection to www.abc.com. :D
Hope it works for me soon.

just an example to show what they did to my domain. I didn't authorize any modifications and I didn't ask them to put it as an "under-contruction" page.

Sigh... I should stick with zoneedit and mydomain.

with portland, only the www. prefix will work, but i'm not 100% sure with domaincontroller.com, never used that before.

Yes. Maybe that's the reason erotic.mu didn't work, but how could they put taht thing on my domain? I have erotic.mu doesn't mean I want to have a site for erotic stuff, such as lingerie frontpage. I will just stay faaaaaaaaaaar away from it.

Thanks guys.

Just wondering, how did you register that? I've been interested in registering a .mu, but when I go to nic.mu, the register link doesn't do anything when I click on it.

Also, how much does a .mu cost?

try hot.mu

If I remember it correctly, it costs $50 per year and two years minimum contract upon registration.

Hope it helps.

Just want you guys know that I still couldn't access erotic.mu, and www.erotic.mu is still being redirected to that crappy lingerie site. This has been more than 5 days since I changed the dns name server.

Did I got some kind of trojan so that the connection to m domain is being fixed?

:( :( :(

Robert, read the post and you will find the answer.

The linked picture is what I have got today from my pc to my domain www.erotic.mu. erotic.mu is still not accessible.
