I've started an Invision Board Forum. I don't want to spend any more money on advertisement. Is there any way I can get 500-1000 unique visitors per day? Any free advertisement sites?

You need members who post content, then search engines will pick it up and if your forum holds interest, then you might actually get a few people joining. Members and content first, then traffic will increase when the search bots have something to search for

place your link in your signature file of various forums and people may find your forum and join it.
as search engines find more links to your site, you may be getting more visitors from them as time passes.
