Ways to get traffic?

Hi,

My site is located at http://www.articlesandtools.com. I am trying to get more traffic to my site and hoping to find new ways from the wonderful forum members here.

My site is in every major search engine and is SEOed to the best of my ability. I try getting traffic from link exchange partners but only 2 out of about 6 get me any traffic at all. I have submitted my articles to ezinearticles as well as other article submission sites, but no one seems to visit my site after reading the article.

You need to update your content constantly, perhaps add a forum to the site, thus making people come back to see the new posts .. getting good traffic these days is hard indeed, but good work and TIME will make the difference.

You could try locally advertising:

1. Local Newspaper: Many local papers have a section to introduce your business to the area. Write a small article about your business and submit it to the newspaper.

2.Press Releases: This is a formal release about your business. There are many places on the Internet that will publish press releases for free. This can be a good way to be sure your business can be found on the Internet. Often local papers will also run these releases.

3.Niche Marketing: For local businesses, be sure your keywords (both in your content and in the Meta Tags) include local cities and towns. When some one types in “Used cars” in the search box it will return thousands of results. When they narrow it down to “Used cars ‘YourTown’”, you want your web site to be high in the listings.
