Most of these are CNC.net domains, worth alot less than CCC.net domains

What does CNC vs. CCC mean for domains? I thought CCC just meant 3-character, but I guess not.

CCC = 3 character (letter and numbers)
LLL = 3 letter
NNN = 3 number

A couple of them caught my eye, but for the most part the rest are not easy to remember, even if they are indeed short. Value for those would, in my opinion, be very little.

The most important thing in using short subdomains or free 3rd level domains is the reliability. For example, dot.tk is known to steal your domain.tk if you have high traffic and put their advertisments.
