"Similar Threads"

As a lot of threads have pointed out around here [great example a lot of people are bumping out old threads from the graves.

I think some of the reason is this "similar threads" plugin that has been hiding at the bottom of the page for a while. The only threads it ever finds that are similar have a few years of dust coated on top of it, which honestly makes it pretty worthless. Just wondering what everybody else thinks

I agree with you - is there a way to say if the thread is older than x months don't show it?

Yeah i have clicked on a few simelar topics dating back to like 2002-2003, just encourages pointless posts.

Eg : Dont have the link but deckers topic asking about the best shoutcast panel, some guy replied like a year later :S

Shoutcast threads were the most bumped threads because people searched for shoutcast. And that's been going on for years. Can't be many left open now
