Check out http://www.javascripts.com/ for some scripts to get rid of ads, and also for some other stuff. Another site for some simple, but useful PHP scripts is http://x.faction.nu. He has some decent news posting, guestbook, and tagboard scripts. Very simple and easy-to-use.
