Popular or bored?

Take a look at this attachment, it was taken from Ads and Offers. I first saw the thread by Shawn an hour after it was posted and it already had 397 views but in over 4 hours since then, it has only been viewed three times.

Either there were heap of people online earlier or someone was extremely bored.

I just thought it was strange. The highest views in the first page of that forum (besides that one) is 273 and that is a 20 post thread.
