Name the panels

Schmarvin

Cross Industries
NLC
Name any or all panels that you know of. Then list some recommendations.
Free or paid. But, I'd prefer them to be usable by a linux system.
(Ex. cPanel, Directadmin, etc)

Post below. Thanks :D

LXAdmin - Most people tend to dislike LXAdmin, but I have to say that I've started to use it for personal things lately and well, I love it.

Webmin - Doesn't come with SQL by default and can be an --- to setup in the first instance.

cPanel is the best its paid

Rofl, I'll be brutally honest with you. Your an idiot if you think that. I can guarantee you, I can gather at least 20 people right now to say its not the best.

But, if you still say so. You'll be needing a reason. I hope "its paid" isn't you reason.

Might not be the best, but its certainly the most popular, and the most in demand. It could be considered the best in terms of attracting more customers.

yeah, i prefer DirectAdmin more than cPanel.
cPanel suck resources like hell!

honestly, i prefer VHCS than cPanel, although it has a lot less features than cPanel
lol,

if you are looking at resource usage. lxadmin uses the least followed by DirectAdmin and then by cPanel

DirectAdmin is pretty nice, but the new cPanel 11.24 seems to be great as well. It's no longer a resource hog as it used to be, but it still doesn't come anywhere near DA in that respect.

Also, pricing for DA seems to be a lot more reasonable than cPanel.

Well, from what I've looked into. LxAdmin only supports up to 40 domains by default. And to support more than that, I'd have to go deep into my wallet.

I have never messed around with it but I have lxadmin running right now on a vps and its using 20mb of ram :evilb:

webmin/virtualmin can run at 8mb ram, lol
but too bad, it lack of too manythings....
but still, it is good enough for a small host that only host a few sites, coz it is able to run in a very tiny VPS
:)

I guarantee you, I can gather at least 2000 people right now to say it is the best. ;)

cPanel makes it easy to do everything, you barely have to go into SSH. The API is great. Its easy to setup. Its easy to install. Its got a lot of plugins/addons. You can rebuild apache through a GUI.

My 2000 people will pwn your 20 :evilb:
