Name change please

We have set it to 1 year. It gets way too confusing for other members if you're allowed to change your name all the time.
 
okay that kinda sucks. If i had known that i wouldn't have changed my name. Also there is an account that the person who formerly own hostcliff used. Now that i own hostcliff, I would like my staff to use that account to post our offers in the free hosting forum can we make this happen? Right now it is suspended i think they had multiple accounts.

Even then its multiple accounts?
 
JJW, I've now added it to the rules under rule 9. "We allow 1 username change per year."

I understand your situation, but let me explain this as clear as I can.

One person, one account.

All accounts here are personal accounts. We DO NOT allow accounts to be shared by multiple people within the same company.

If one person from your staff would like to post offers here they can sign up with a new username. Make sure that you only use your account and that person only uses his/her own account. Otherwise you both risk getting banned.

Also make sure that both of you don't post an ad within 7 days.

We do not let you have access to a banned account. No. In rare cases we can change a banned accounts username and let another account get that username. The accounts will not be merged though. I will first need to investigate what happened to the old account. And look into who owns the new account.

Not a big deal. My reason for changing to 24khost is so that I identify with my new company. The hostcliff issue i have an idea on how to take care of it. My second in command will register the username i advise him. I would not be posting in the free forums with 24khost he would be posting in the free with his name.


RSMILEY - not really 2 accounts i would not be the one using it. My staff member would be. Is there a way though that if that account is banned for some reason I can be informed what it is to take care of the issue?
 
We should be able to free up the hostcliff name by merging that into another of his banned accounts. I'll take a look later today as I am about to go out.

it is not for my account. The company that i bought hostcliff, has two banned accounts. My staff jan said they could probably move it from one account to another.
 
Maarten Ekes, I don't believe he has another account i advised him if he did just to ask for a name change.
